The preparation of the Technical Guidelines Center for Diplomacy and Global Trade is a commitment of the International Relations Department, University of Jember. The guideline is one realization of the Kompetisi Kampus Merdeka Program (PKKM) Grant 2022. This workshop was held in the Meeting Room of the Java Lotus Hotel on October 12-14th, 2022 and then continued on October 17-19th, 2022. The workshop was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) along with lecturers and students of the International Relations Department.
The session was opened with remarks from Head of the International Relations Department, Dr. Suyani Indriastuti, "This workshop is intended to support the formation of the Center for Diplomacy and Global Trade" she said in the opening of the activity. The agenda was also attended by several speakers, consisting of, 1) Ambassador Dr. Dienne Hardianti Moehario, S.H., M.A. (Directorate General of Protocol and Consular Affairs, Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs), 2) Dr. Sri Issundari, SIP, M.Hum (UPN Veteran Yogyakarta Diplomacy Laboratory), 3) Dr. Riza Noer Arfani (Director of Center for World Trade Studies and Lecturer at International Relations, University of Gajah Mada), 4) Dr. Suryani Motik (Vice Chairman of Indonesia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) Indonesia).
