Dr. Agus Trihartono was the only invited speaker from Indonesia in an international forum entitled Seminar on Monitoring the Implementation of the Law by the Westminster Foundation for Democracy. The forum was held on June 17-18, 2019 at Yangoon, Myanmar. On that forum, Dr. Trihartono presented a paper titled “The Role of Government in Post-Legislative Scrutiny: Case Study of Revision to the Fisheries Act in Indonesia”. Conference participants consisted of members of parliament, lecturers, observers, and practitioners of legal, social, and political issues. The conference was attended by 28 speakers and 600 participants. They were representatives from Indonesia, Australia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Nepal, Pakistan, South Korea, the United States, the United Kingdom, Greece, Georgia, India, Kosovo, Sri Lanka, and the host, Myanmar.
