The delegation of International Relations of the University of Jember received an award at the 35th National Interim Meeting of International Relations Students (PSNMHII) held at Pertamina University on June 2-6, 2023 with the theme "Inclusiveness of Cooperation between Countries and Global Energy Companies in Strengthening Energy Resilience".
At the event, the delegation that participated in the chamber diplomatic course received special recognition in the form of the Diplomatic Commendation Award. The special recognition was obtained after the delegates held a committee session for two days. The delegates engaged in thought-provoking discussions, interactive workshops, and debates on issues and themes raised by the host organizers. Furthermore, negotiations and diplomacy were conducted with various delegates from other universities who attended PSNMHII this year. At the end of the event, the liveliness of discussions, diplomacy, debates, and maneuvers carried out by UNEJ delegates in PSNMHII resulted in Diplomatic Commendation awards from the Chairs.
PSNMHII is an activity carried out once a year by representatives of international relations students from all universities in Indonesia who are members of the Forum for Communication of International Relations Students throughout Indonesia (FKMHII). In 2023, Pertamina University was chosen to host the 35th PSNMHII with a choice of chambers, namely: Diplomatic Course, Journal, Short Movie, and Forum Session.
