Gilang Ariantama, an International Relations student, became the best graduate for two periods at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences level. It was announced at the Judicium Period V and VI of the 2023/2024 Academic Year. He completed his bachelor's education with a GPA of 3.93 and a study period of 3 years 11 months and 2 days. For his achievement, he managed to get a predicate with "Cumlaude". At the Judicium ceremony, he became a student representative to deliver messages and impressions and became the first male representative to take part as an orator in the Judicium ceremony of the 2023/2024 Academic Year.
Not only became the best graduate at the Faculty level, Gilang also became the Third (3rd) best graduate at the University level in Graduation Period V Academic Year 2023/2024.
He was admitted that he was very happy to achieve that predicate. Initially, he never imagined that he would become the best graduate. For Gilang, the biggest motivation for his achievements was the support of his parents and families. Apart from family, lecturers have a big role for Gilang, because the knowledge gained from books will be difficult to apply without the knowledge of its application in everyday life, as has been provided by lecturers during his education to date.
Gilang said that one of the keys to being an outstanding student and becoming the best graduate is to always try to do things as much as possible and have a target in completing the assigned tasks. He added that key is to be consistent in doing things to the fullest. Apart from that, he added that being active in campus activities such as writing, speaking, and organizing is one way to achieve his achievement as best graduate students.
