Edward David, a student of International Relations, won first place during the Campus Ambassador Contest that was held on October 27, 2023 at the Soetardjo Hall, University of Jember.
On the peak night of the campus ambassador, David successfully answered the jury's questions with satisfactory scores and surpassed finalists from other faculties of University of Jember. As a result, he was crowned as Campus Ambassador of the University of Jember 2023.
For his achievement, David will dedicate himself for the next two years as a campus ambassador to promote the university's profile and activities to the public.
This competition is usually held once every year or every two years to select potential ambassadors for the University of Jember. This year, the campus ambassador was followed by 137 participants from all faculties of the University of Jember. After passing various in-depth selections, only 20 finalists will compete for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place on the peak night of the campus ambassador contest.
